Sacred Heart College Library’s mission is to prepare students by supporting student inquiry learning, giving them the tools they need to navigate the dynamic information environment and to succeed with information acquisition, evaluation and application.
Our goal is to achieve student information literacy by providing and updating resources and services, giving every student an equal opportunity to learn, enjoy reading and ability to research skills to gain knowledge on a path of life-long learning.
Before school, lunchtime and after-school, the students will find the library a welcoming place to read, study, research, complete homework, play board games or just relax. At any time the library staff are willing and able to help you. There is also a duty teacher available at lunchtime. Often teachers will come to the library to work and enjoy the unique environment it provides.
